The course introduces the fundamental concepts of nutrition through an integrated approach in discussing the interactions between diet and intermediary metabolism.

Human Physiology

1st Semester

The course covers major aspects of the physiology of the human body using an integrated approach. After completing this course, students will have acquired fundamental principles of how the body works. Students interested in nutrition and human biology will find this course most useful.

BIOL3503 Endocrinology

2nd Semester

To provide an advanced course on hormones and how they regulate metabolism/growth, reproduction and water/salt homeostasis in our body.

Food & Nutritional Science Project

1st + 2nd Semesters

The 12-credit Final Year Project Capstones enable students to conduct their own research in a discipline that they select and with close supervision from an academic staff member.
